My wife, a stroke survival, is having her OT and PT since late 2018, and she is still very happy and pleased to continue her therapy with the Centre because of its 3Cs. Competent: The Centre encourages patient-therapist communication which is important to further improve the quality and efficiency of care. The Centre will try its level best to respond honestly to queries, and if in doubt, it will say so and revert after some research. As part of the therapy, the Centre explains which muscles are involved, and teaches the patient in how to use those muscles to achieve a targeted objective like balancing, gait improvement. Compassion: After the initial shock, stroke survival enters the daunting recovery phase where one may feel depressed, anguish, frustrated. The Centre understands these feelings by explaining the importance why exercises are constantly repeated with little to show for, encourage patient to do extra even though they complained about being tired or just refuse to continue, and most importantly, whenever there are any results/improvement, they are heavily emphasis, encouraged and stress upon. This will uplift the patient's moral tremendously. Clean: The Centre is clean, spacious and well equipped. After each patient, the Centre will have a wipe down on the equipment/tools being used, and it is spacious enough to perform floor or waking exercises.

Mr. Tan Siak Meng, Simon, is a MAHPC-registered Occupational Therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience. Specialises in chronic pain management, stroke rehabilitation, and hand therapy.
Certified in DGSA Dry Needling and PNF neuromuscular rehabilitation, he combines effective hands-on techniques with functional movement training to help patients recover faster and move better.
